Psalm 78 reads, "We will not hide them from their children, but we will tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might, and the wonders that He has done. He established a testimony...which He commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, even the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments..."
Yet it happens to families and churches...the slow and steady departure from church, and even faith, of those who are the "next generation". They don’t usally plan to leave, but statistics prove that the majority leave none-the-less. They walk away from religion and/or faith. There are a myriad of reasons, but the point is...they walk away. The hard truth is that there are no easy answers...no simple fixes.
With God, there is always hope.
God never fails. The Bible is loaded with wisdom for families. And Newsong is endeavoring to strongly support families in raising children and instilling faith deep within them.
ORANGE IS THAT STRATEGY.
Orange is a path, a philosophy that combines the strength of two--church and family; yellow and red--to create the brilliance of another...Orange. By combining the light of the church and the love of the family, the Orange strategy synchronizes efforts and shows a generation who God is more effectively than either could alone.
At Newsong, we’re committed to leading families to deep, personal faith in Christ...dads, moms, sons & daughters. We’re working hard to implement an ORANGE philosophy with the confidence that God will continue to work eternally for the good of our families.
WHEN CHURCH AND FAMILY COLLIDE.
